Last month NPR Music announced a Tiny Desk Concert Contest and invited unsigned bands to submit videos of themselves playing an original song, at a desk, to get a change to win the chance to perform as part of the awesome Tiny Desk Concert series. The contest closed on Monday, but clearly this brought musicians out of the wood works to submit, with Bob Boilen's blog noting a few days before close that 'thousands' had been submitted already.
With NPR Music located in DC, lots of musicians that have been involved in Flashband obviously submitted. Here's as complete a list as I could unofficially compile (scour my Facebook feed) of Tiny Desk submissions involving musicians that have done at least one Flashband showcase. Did I miss any? Let me know in the comments and I'll update the list.
